About this event

Franchise International Malaysia (FIM) is the official national franchise exhibition and conference, organized by the Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA) together with the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (MECD). Supported by the World Franchise Council (WFC) and Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC), FIM stands as the only franchise exhibition in Malaysia endorsed at both national and international levels.

Over the years, FIM has attracted more than 150,000 visitors from 72 countries, strengthening Malaysia’s role as a regional franchise gateway.

The FLA Malaysia Trip, held in conjunction with Franchise International Malaysia (FIM) 2026, is proudly supported under the LEAD TFBM Programme, an initiative by Enterprise Singapore (www.enterprisesg.gov.sg). This program aims to empower Singapore companies to expand globally by connecting with international customers and exploring new market opportunities.

Funding Support for Eligible Participants: Singapore companies participating in the FLA Malaysia Trip (under the Singapore Pavilion) are eligible for an Enterprise Singapore grant covering up to 60% of eligible expenses.

  • Eligible Expenses Include: Exhibition rental space, Booth construction, Relevant consultancy costs (e.g., translators, promoters)
  • Excluded Expenses: GST, Flight and accommodation costs, Administrative fees

This grant provides substantial support for Singapore businesses, helping to lower the cost of showcasing their brands at FIM 2026 and facilitating meaningful connections with potential partners in the global franchise market.

Participating cost

Standard shell scheme under Singapore Pavilion (9sqm): 

  • Partition walls, 
  • Booth carpeting, 
  • Fascia board with company name, 
  • 1 information table, 
  • 2 chairs,
  • 2 fluorescent lightings,
  • 1 power outlet (13-amp)
  • 1 Dustbin

Participating Fee:

SGD 7,000 (per 9sqm)
(estimated ~60% ESG grant for eligible SG companies)

  • Marketing materials: display shelves, printed booth wall panels, tv, brochure printing, etc 
  • Additional furniture, lighting, electrical/water fittings, etc

No ESG grant support, SG companies to pay vendor direct. 

Estimated Event Cost:

  • Booth-related: SGD 7,000 (9sqm booth) + SGD 1,000 (admin fee) = SGD 8,000
  • Travel-related: SGD 250 (flight/pax) + SGD 600 (hotel/pax/3 nights) = SGD 850
  • Grant reimbursement (from ESG) through FLA (Singapore): SGD 4,200 (9sqm booth) 
  • Out-of-pocket (less grant): SGD 8,000 + SGD 850 – SGD 4,200 = SGD $4,650 (excludes optional booth add-ons)
